"Aegis 1": a low-cost, energy efficient, storm resistant home

Brent has designed a low-cost, 3 bedroom/3 bath home that is extremely energy efficient and durable (wind/storm resistant) and can be built in two weeks or less. This passive-solar, earth-sheltered SIP (structural insulated panel) home features cathedral ceilings, a sunspace patio room, a deck, super-windows, multi-zone HVAC and a basement with an insulated concrete form (ICF) construction storm shelter.
